Stewarded by his daughter, Sarena Snider, the foundation carries forward his belief in individual responsibility, economic freedom, the importance of strengthening communities, and Jewish cultural identity.
Ed Snider believed that philanthropy was both a privilege and a responsibility, an opportunity to support meaningful work while strengthening the bonds that connect people across generations.
Throughout his life, he championed entrepreneurship, initiative, and the power of individuals to shape their own futures, while remaining deeply committed to community, Jewish identity, and the well-being of others.
Before founding Another Light, Sarena Snider served as a Board Member of The Snider Foundation, working alongside her family to advance this vision.
Another Light is grounded in Ed Snider’s enduring values while also reflecting Sarena Snider’s deep commitment to protecting the natural world and ensuring future generations inherit a healthy, resilient planet.
Today, the foundation advances this combined vision through a focus on expanding civic understanding, protecting biodiversity, strengthening communities across generations, and advancing celiac disease research and care – an area shaped by lived experience within the Snider family.
